Returns Policy and Re-Stocking Charges
Your Legal Rights
When you buy goods from a business, in law you have a number of rights as a consumer. These include the right to claim a refund, replacement, repair and/or compensation where the goods are faulty or mis-described.
Our policy
In addition to your legal rights, we also allow you to return goods if you simply change your mind. Please return the goods unused and in unopened packaging to us with the original receipt within 14 days and we will offer you an exchange or a refund. For goods returned to us we may include a re-stocking charge as follows.
Stock Items
- Acceptance of return is always at our discretion.
- No returns of perishable items such as those stored in paper bags or plasterboards or items cut to size.
- Customer must produce the original receipt or the invoice they were booked-out on.
- A refund or exchange will only be issued once the goods have been returned and verified as being in a re-saleable condition.
- If goods are returned to our yard a 15% re-stocking charge will be applied.
- If KRM have to collect and return the goods to the yard a re-stocking charge of up to 30% will be applied.
- We are unable to accept returns for a refund after 28 days.
Non-Stock Items/Special Orders including Direct Sales
- We cannot guarantee any form of refund/exchange.
- Customer must produce the original receipt or the invoice they were booked-out on.
- Return would be dependent upon our supplier’s willingness to accept the goods back.
- Any re-stocking charges from the supplier and the cost of collecting and returning the goods will be chargeable.
- A refund will only be issued once KRM have received the credit from our supplier.
